Prayer groups with a time, a room, and a door

A time

Groups meet on a real schedule — one-time, daily, or weekly in the group’s own time zone. Members answer Going, Maybe, or Can’t Go; leaders record attendance; sessions export to your calendar. When one occurrence must move, leaders reschedule or cancel just that one — the rhythm itself stands.

While the group prays, a visible “prayer is happening now” presence tells every member: we are gathered, come.

A room

Each group has a member-only room for its conversation: messages, prayer requests, answered-prayer updates, and testimonies. What is shared in the room stays scoped to the room — invitation pages shown to outsiders reveal only privacy-safe details.

A door

Groups have a capacity, and leaders can lock admission when the group reaches the size it prays best at — and unlock it again later. Ownership can be handed off safely when seasons change, co-hosts share the load, and members can be removed when needed. Groups can be paused for a season or archived when their work is done.

Kept safe to gather in

• Blocking and reporting are built into the community, including inside groups.
• Reports are triaged by severity with response-time targets, and moderation actions leave an audit trail.
• Rate limits blunt spam and abuse before they reach the room.
• Community guidelines set expectations everyone can read — they are public.

Group messages travel over encrypted connections and are protected by account authorization. They are not end-to-end encrypted, and moderators can review reported content — that honesty is part of keeping the room safe.

Creating and joining

Joining and creating prayer groups is part of Huios Pro. Friends, private messages between accepted friends, testimonies, and community reporting remain available to every account.
