Your faith journey deserves careful stewardship

What Huios stores

• Account information such as email address, authentication provider, and display name.
• Preferences, onboarding choices, reminders, progress, favorites, and recap completion.
• Community content you choose to post, prayer-group membership, friend connections, reports, and private messages.
• Subscription entitlement status from Apple, Google, and RevenueCat. Huios does not receive your full payment-card number.
• Technical diagnostics, app version, device type, and crash details when production monitoring is enabled.

Visibility of what you share

Testimonies, reflections, profile display names, and prayer-group details may be visible to other signed-in Huios users according to the screen where you share them. One-to-one messages are limited to accepted friends, but they are not end-to-end encrypted. Do not share information you would not want stored by the service.

Blocking restricts future contact. Reporting sends the selected content to authorized reviewers for safety and moderation.

How information is used

• To provide authentication, synchronization, playback, subscriptions, community, safety, and customer support.
• To prevent abuse, enforce access controls, investigate reports, and protect the service.
• To measure reliability and diagnose crashes — without intentionally sending prayer text or message content to crash monitoring.

Recommendations use signals such as goals, saves, completion history, and recent activity. The text of prayer requests, journal entries, custom meditations, and messages is excluded from recommendation ranking, and personalization can be disabled or its history cleared without deleting your spiritual content.

Service providers

Huios uses service providers including Supabase for authentication and data, RevenueCat and the app stores for subscriptions, and Sentry when configured for production diagnostics. These providers process information under their own contractual and privacy obligations. Huios does not sell personal information.

Security

Huios uses row-level database authorization, encrypted native session storage, private media delivery, rate limits, and account-level controls. No online service can promise absolute security.

Retention

Most account content is kept while your account is active. Safety reports and moderation decisions are normally retained for at least 365 days so Huios can investigate abuse, prevent repeat harm, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Deleting an account may anonymize the reporter while retaining this safety record. A legal hold may extend retention when required.

Your choices

You can export a portable JSON copy of your account data or request permanent deletion from your profile inside the app. Store subscriptions must be cancelled separately in Apple or Google settings.

Biometric matching is performed by your device operating system; Huios receives only whether authentication succeeded. Notification permission is used only for reminders you enable. Downloaded audio remains on the device until you remove it, clear app data, or uninstall Huios.
